JONATHAN Woodgate revealed Sam Surridge will visit a podiatrist next week to assess his troublesome toe injury.
The striker has missed the past two games due to the problem and will again be absent for tomorrow's trip to Preston North End.
Woodgate also provided an update on David Brooks, who is currently out of action due to an ankle problem.
Asked for injury news ahead of the clash at Deepdale, Woodgate said: "Jack Stacey is fine. Brooksy could be another three or four weeks, Sam Surridge won’t be fit this week.
"He’s got to see a podiatrist maybe on Monday and that’s it at the minute."
