CHERRIES are "monitoring developments" regarding Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts, according to Mail Online.

The 21-year-old has struggled for game time in recent weeks under Marcelo Bielsa this season and was left out of the matchday squad altogether for Saturday's 3-0 loss at Tottenham.

Roberts has made eight top-flight appearances for the Whites this season, but only two have been as a starter.

The Wales international joined Leeds for £2.5million from West Brom in January 2018 and has scored seven goals in 63 games for the Yorkshire club.

But with the European Championship coming up in the summer, the Mail claim Wales boss Ryan Giggs is "keeping a keen eye" on what happens with Roberts, who has seven senior caps for his country.

The same report says Cherries are "braced for offers" for both Joshua King and David Brooks in this transfer window and are therefore "evaluating potential replacements".

Discussing the January transfer window with the Daily Echo last week, Cherries boss Jason Tindall said: "If there’s any player that becomes available that we feel that we might need for whatever reason that is going to be able to make a difference to the team to be successful then we’ll always look at it.

"But it’s not something I’m desperate to do. It’s not something I feel I need to do right now, but we’ll deal with that as it comes along."
