JASON Tindall said winger Arnaut Danjuma would be further assessed on a hamstring problem but added: “He’s progressing really well”.

The Netherlands international has missed Cherries’ past two games against Rotherham and Preston due to the injury.

He could be involved when the Dorset club make the trip to Barnsley in the Championship tomorrow (5.30pm).

Asked for an update on the 23-year-old, Tindall said: “He’s progressing really well, Arnie, really pleased with where he is at the minute.

“We will assess him to see where he’s at and to see if he’s ready – but he’s certainly not too far away.”

The Cherries boss also revealed Joshua King could be in contention to feature at Oakwell.

Norwegian striker King has been building his match fitness, having completed his isolation period after contracting COVID-19 last month.

“He’s has four really good days’ training, has trained extremely hard, looked sharp and bright,” said Tindall, when asked about former Manchester United man King.

“Josh is certainly someone that’s very close and someone that will add good strength to the current squad that’s available for us.”
