BOSS Jason Tindall said Cherries would make late calls on the availability of Arnaut Danjuma and Lewis Cook for tomorrow’s home battle with Preston North End.

Cook suffered an infected gash in his leg which kept him out of Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Rotherham, while Danjuma was left out with a hamstring injury.

Asked for an update on the duo ahead of the battle with 18th-placed North End, Tindall said: “We will assess both of them just to see where they are and if we feel they are good enough to be available.

“That will be a late call on both of them, I’m afraid.”

Danjuma has scored five times in 12 appearances in all competitions for Cherries this season, while Cook opened his account for Tindall’s side in a 4-2 victory over Reading earlier this month.

Quizzed on whether any other injury concerns came out of a physical game at New York Stadium, manager Tindall replied: “A few sore heads!

“But no not really. Just no more than you would expect from a tough Championship fixture – just a few niggles and bruises that will be assessed but nothing of any real concern to worry about too much.”

The Cherries boss on Saturday confirmed full-back Jack Stacey would be out for up to eight weeks with a knee ligament injury, sustained against Reading.
