JASON Tindall bemoaned the decision not to penalise a challenge on Junior Stanislas against Rotherham as a "turning point in the game".
With the contest locked at 1-1 at New York Stadium on the stroke of half-time, Stanislas burst through on goal after being played in Dominic Solanke.
However, his progress was halted by a sliding challenge from Matt Olosunde to prevent the winger a chance to test goalkeeper Jamal Blackman, which went unpunished.
And Cherries boss Tindall believes referee Geoff Eltringham should have penalised the defender.
"I think the one time he didn’t blow his whistle, when we were through one v one, Junior Stanislas gets fouled," Tindall told the Daily Echo.
"Maybe because he didn’t dive to the floor he didn’t give it. That was probably a turning point in the game.
"When you even get their staff saying it’s a foul, then I think that tells you a lot in itself.
"I think everyone in the stadium could see it was a foul but the ref obviously didn’t give it, which was surprising given how many times he was blowing the whistle."
