JASON Tindall is hoping striker Dominic Solanke can "go on and fly now for the remainder of the season" after bagging a brace against Reading.

Solanke struck twice in the second half as Cherries came from 2-0 down to beat the Royals 4-2 on Saturday.

The goals take the 23-year-old's tally for the campaign to four, with that brace being his first strikes at Vitality Stadium since netting twice against Leicester City back in July.

"Really pleased with Dom," Tindall told the Daily Echo.

"I don’t think it was a bit of luck (the second goal), I felt it was the reward for the run and for the hard work and persistence.

"I’m delighted Dom has got two goals. I’ve been absolutely over the moon with his performances and his contribution to the team.

"He’s such a good team player and he’s a big player for us. He’s been excellent in the last two weeks in training, scoring a lot of goals.

"I had a good feeling for Dom on Saturday and I’m delighted he’s got his two goals and hopefully he can continue that form and go on and fly now for the remainder of the season."
