GOALSCORER Chris Mepham will have "a smile back on his face" after ending a rollercoaster week with a last-gasp strike against Watford, says Cherries boss Jason Tindall.
On Wednesday, Mepham's error allowed Cardiff City in to score and earn a 1-1 draw in south Wales.
Three days later, the Wales international popped up to grab just his second goal for Cherries, deep into stoppage time for another 1-1, this time at Vicarage Road.
"I'm really pleased for Meps," Tindall told the Daily Echo.
"Obviously he was disappointed after the Cardiff game with the goal that we conceded.
"He was really disappointed and down off the back of that.
"To come and deliver a solid, good performance and to get the goal right at the end, I’m sure that would’ve put a smile back on his face."
