CHERRIES striker Joshua King’s agent has been in talks with West Ham United, the Daily Echo understands.

The 28-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the club this summer, following the Dorset outfit’s relegation from the top flight.

Cherries rejected a bid from Italian outfit Torino for King on Sunday – the offer understood to have been nowhere near the club’s valuation of the player.

The Daily Echo understands, at the time of writing, there had been no bid as of yet from the Irons for King.

Striker King missed Cherries’ 3-1 victory at Coventry on Friday with a migraine, having text the club doctor late in the afternoon to withdraw from Jason Tindall’s squad.

He has however been named in the Norway setup for their October international fixtures.

The Oslo-born frontman was subject to a transfer offer from Manchester United back in January, which Cherries rejected.

West Brom are also reportedly interested in King, who joined Cherries from Blackburn Rovers in 2015.
