GOALS from Tony Lee and Josh Carmichael kept up Poole Town’s flawless start to the league campaign after a 2-1 Southern League South home victory over Truro City.

Dolphins announced the loan signings of Cherries youngsters Ben Greenwood and Christian Saydee ahead of kick-off against the White Tigers.

And a Greenwood cross eventually led to Poole netting their first through Lee on 35 minutes.

Carmichael then added a second, slotting home after surging forward and playing a neat one-two for the hosts.

Truro responded when Rocky Neal’s deflected header eventually beat home stopper Mark Childs.

But the Dolphins keeper came to the rescue late on, making a fine save deep in o stoppage time to earn Tom Killick’s side their third win in as many league games.

Elsewhere, two late goals from Aidan Shepherd ensured Wimborne Town sealed a dramatic comeback triumph over Farnborough.

The visitors had taken the lead through Reece Miller after 46 minutes at Cuthbury.

But Shepherd levelled with 10 minutes remaining before notching his second nine minutes later to give Magpies their first league win of the season.
