TWO-GOAL hero Dan Gosling reiterated “there’s a lot more work to be done” after Cherries overcame Coventry 3-1 at St Andrew’s.
The all-action midfielder netted twice in the second half for the visitors to give them 10 points from their opening four Championship games.
But Gosling insisted it was key for Jason Tindall’s side to continue their good work after the international break.
He told the Daily Echo: “We had a great result last week and it was important to back it up.
“It’s a solid start, but there’s a lot more work to be done.”
Gosling’s match-winning strikes came after Jefferson Lerma’s opener was cancelled out by a Matt Godden penalty.
Assessing the game as a whole, the 30-year-old said: “For the first half an hour we were very good.
“Moving the ball quick, opening them up and we had three or four very good chances. Chances like that though, you have to score.
“It was great defending on one when Dominic Solanke rounded the keeper and it was a great recovery. On another day we could’ve been out of sight by half time.
“The nature of this league, we let them get back into it in the last 10 minutes of the first half and they managed to come in at 1-1.
“But we went in with confidence and spoke at half-time and came out in the second half and we were a completely different team.”
