JASON Tindall admitted he was delighted to see Dan Gosling bag a brace against Coventry – but was not surprised by the midfielder’s double.
The former Everton man’s second-half strikes earned Cherries three points against Coventry in a 3-1 victory at St Andrew’s and took the Dorset club top of the Championship table.
Gosling proved the difference-maker after Jefferson Lerma’s first-half goal was cancelled out by a penalty from Matt Godden.
Tindall told the Daily Echo: “I’m delighted for Goso but I’m not surprised because Gos is good for a goal.
“With the attacking players missing, I felt Goso had to come into the team. He does give us that threat of arriving in the box at the right time.
“His first goal was almost what Goso is all about – a poacher’s goal in and around the area.
“The second one was a great strike and thankfully his two goals tonight won us the game.”
