CHERRIES have confirmed winger Harry Wilson is set to stay at the club for the remainder of the season.

The Wales international, who joined on loan from Liverpool at the start of the campaign, has been granted permission by his parent club to feature for the final nine top-flight fixtures.

Wilson’s original deal had been expected to expire this month, but he is now eligible to help Eddie Howe’s men in their quest to beat the drop – restarting at home against Crystal Palace on Saturday, June 20.

Wrexham-born Wilson has scored seven times in 23 appearances for Cherries this season, including on his Premier League debut against Aston Villa in August.

The 23-year-old has since gone on to net against Manchester City, Southampton, Newcastle, Tottenham and Brighton.

Wilson, who has trained with Howe’s side since the green light was given to players to return to work, last featured for Cherries in a 3-0 defeat at Burnley on February 22.
