GOALKEEPER Asmir Begovic insisted he would discuss his situation at Cherries in the next couple of months.

The Bosnian international has not featured for Eddie Howe’s men in more than a year having had loan spells at Azerbaijani outfit Qarabag and, at present, Italian giants AC Milan.

Begovic was signed by Cherries from Chelsea for £10million in 2017 but lost his place in the Premier league to both Artur Boruc and Mark Travers last season.

Aaron Ramsdale has featured in all but one of the Dorset club’s top-flight games this campaign.

Asked about his future on Sky Sports, Begovic said: “We will see. I think everything is at a little bit of a standstill at the moment.

“When you are looking at the transfer market and what team’s plans are, the leagues now are all getting restarted.

“Things will become a little more clear and people have a better idea for next year and can make plans.

“The same goes for myself really. I’ve got the loan spell here until the end of the season, which I am going to do my best to help the team be as successful as possible and then we will take it from there.

“I’ve got two years left at Bournemouth. We will discuss that situation in the next couple of months I’m sure.”
