CHERRIES go into tonight's FA Cup replay against rejuvenated Barrow without the dynamic duo who starred in Sunday's encouraging draw at Hartlepool.

Reading loan pair James Henry, who scored a superb solo goal at Victoria Park, and man of the match Alex Pearce, are both ineligible for the first round re-run at Dean Court.

And with veterans Darren Anderton and Neil Moss still not ready for comebacks, it is a familiar team selection scenario for Cherries manager Kevin Bond.

"It's two out and one in," boss Bond told the Daily Echo.

"I'm glad to have Lee Bradbury back after suspension, but obviously disappointed to lose the two lads who have made such an impact at both ends of the field. But we have to get on with it.

"It's unfortunate to say the least. Nonetheless, that's what we have to work without and that's what we'll do.

"I've got Shaun Cooper who played well there (central defence) up at Barrow, he's available. That would mean someone else doing a job in the middle of the park if we decide to go down that road."

A glance at Bond's skeleton squad on Sunday showed the only natural midfielder on the bench to be Marvin Bartley, but he is short of match fitness, as is Warren Cummings.

"If you look at the games we've had, there's been a couple of full days travelling with not much training," explained Bond.

"The other lads played a game but those two didn't and have not been able to get much training in. But we needed to take them because we needed them on the bench.

"That hasn't helped improve their fitness levels but we can't do anything about that. We haven't got enough bodies to field another team (in a reserve match or friendlies) so I've explained to Marvin and Warren that they need to get fitness back by working hard in training.

"If I need to use them I wouldn't hesitate, although they're way short of where they want to be."

Bond is expecting a "difficult game" against the Holker Street non-leaguers, who picked up their first Blue Square North win in nine matches on Saturday with an impressive 4-0 victory over high-flying AFC Telford.

He said: "They've changed their manager and it certainly had the desired effect on Saturday.

"I expect they'll come here feeling they've got nothing to lose, which they haven't.

"We'll try to get the ball down, pass it if we can and if the conditions allow it."
