CHERRIES keeper Asmir Begovic revealed he had been trying to “reshuffle my energy into different things” amid football’s suspension.

The Bosnian stopper, currently on loan at AC Milan, most recently featured for the Italian giants in a 2-1 home defeat to Genoa on March 8.

Serie A football was suspended indefinitely a day later, as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Asked how training at home was going on an Instagram Q&A, 32-year-old Begovic said: “I try to be as busy as possible training by myself with running, bike and gym as much as I can.

“Now we are doing some more training with the team in conference calls.

“I am just trying to stay as busy as possible and staying ready for when we need to be back.”

Having also been on loan at Azerbaijani outfit Qarabag this season, Begovic has made two appearances for Milan since joining them in January.

For now, he is keeping himself occupied away from football.

“My hobbies at home are mainly spending time at home with my family, my kids, doing as much as I can with them,” he added.

“I like to play a bit of golf, do some chipping in the back garden. I like to read and we do some podcasts – just trying to do different things and reshuffle my energy into different things.”
