FULL-BACK Jordan Zemura is eager to help cement Cherries’ place at the top of Premier League Cup Group E tomorrow.

Shaun Cooper’s men are unbeaten in the competition this season, with seven points coming from their opening three games.

They are two ahead of second-placed Stoke and three clear of Southampton.

Cherries visit bottom side Nottingham Forest at Alfreton Town (7pm) looking to keep up their advantage, with the top two in the group heading into the last-16.

London-born Zemura told afcb.co.uk: “The Premier League Cup, for me, is probably my favourite competition.

“The chance to play at different stadiums is brilliant, we get a few fans coming over to watch us and it’s a nice atmosphere.

“It is more or less the best players playing against each other, so it’s a good competition.

“We’ve done really well in the early games, I’m buzzing with the boys and myself personally but from third to first, it’s between everyone so we want to keep cementing our place by winning on Friday night.”

Cherries sealed victory over Forest at Vitality Stadium in the reverse fixture back in October.

Forest’s Zac Clough missed a penalty before Alex Dobre’s 36th-minute winner ensured a 1-0 success.
