ASSISTANT James Stokoe revealed Paddy Hester would not play for Wimborne Town again this season.
The Magpies defender, who has been nursing a hamstring injury, is set to move to Dubai with work commitments in the new year.
He is not expected to feature when Danny Holmes’s men host Merthyr Town at Cuthbury in Southern League South on Saturday (3pm).
Stokoe told Radio Wimborne: “I think Paddy is now done because he is going away in January anyway, moving abroad.
“He is moving to Dubai with work, he got a job offer out there. With the severity of his hamstring, he goes the start of January.
“We won’t see Paddy in a Wimborne shirt again this season.”
Wimborne go into their clash with 13th-placed Merthyr knowing victory would see them leapfrog the Martyrs in league table.
