AARON Ramsdale insisted Cherries had earned their stripes with five seasons in the Premier League and insisted: “I don’t really think we’re scared of the big boys anymore.”

The Cherries keeper is preparing for the visit of top-flight heavyweights Manchester United to Vitality Stadium tomorrow (12.30pm).

United have won a record 20 domestic English titles in their history, but 21-year-old Ramsdale will be treating the game no differently.

He said: “I don’t really think we’re scared of the big boys anymore.

“We’ve been here for five years now and we’ve played our part to be in the Premier League by right.

“If we take the scalp of Manchester United then it’s just another Premier League game for us which we’ve won.

“We’ve played good games and earned respect by the way we play.

“This is our fifth Premier League season, so we’re an established team and hopefully we can finish higher than we did last year.”

Ramsdale is looking for a hat-trick of clean sheets - Cherries have not conceded against Watford or Norwich in their past two outings.
