DANNY Ford believes Pirates' top four riders form the "most potent" quartet in the Premiership.

League leaders Poole made it eight wins from nine with a resounding 50-40 success against Peterborough at Wimborne Road on Thursday night.

Nicolai Klindt, Jack Holder and Brady Kurtz all hit double figures against the Panthers, with skipper Josh Grajczonek adding 7+2 to the tally.

Co-promoter Ford told the club's website: "Nicolai and Josh have been on fire since day one of the season and we've needed it too, with all the injuries we've had.

"They've had to play a much bigger role than they normally would have, and both have stepped up to the plate when we needed them most.

"Jack had a tough start to the season but has been flying since then and Brady really showed what he's all about on Thursday night having only just returned from another injury.

"I firmly believe we have the most potent top four in British speedway at the moment and long may their form continue."

Meanwhile, Nicolai Klindt praised the Wimborne Road surface on Thursday as he top scored with a contribution of 13 points.

The Danish charger said: "It was great to have Brady back in the team, which meant we had a much more relaxed meeting.

"We did not have to rush around to do tactical rides.

"One of my better performances at home this year, felt really good and the track was spot on."
