CHERRIES have agreed a fee worth up to £15million to sign Huddersfield Town’s Philip Billing.

The Dorset club have been intensely linked with the midfielder this summer and the Daily Echo understands a price has now been agreed.

Denmark under-21 international Billing joined Huddersfield initially on a youth contract in 2013 and has made 91 appearances for the first team, including 43 in the Premier League.

But Billing's relationship with Terriers has turned sour in recent months with the Huddersfield Examiner reporting that the club's new owner Phil Hodgkinson said he "won't be involved in the first team at Huddersfield Town football club while I'm here".

Billing netted two goals in the Premier League last season and played three times for Denmark at the under-21 European Championship in the summer, but has not featured for Huddersfield since mid-March.
