NATHAN Moriah-Welsh says Cherries is somewhere he'd "like to stay for as long as possible" after being named as the club's new under-18s captain.
London-born Moriah-Welsh left Reading to move south last year and has caught the eye of youth team boss Alan Connell.
The midfielder has in recent weeks spent time training with the senior side and travelled away with the under-21s for their pre-season trip to Alicante.
Moriah-Welsh told the club's website: "I was going away with the under-21s and Alan pulled me aside as we were leaving and said I'd be captain of the youth team for the new season.
"I was pretty excited. To be named captain permanently this season is really good.
"Within the first month of moving to Bournemouth I felt at home.
"Bournemouth is a place I'd like to stay in for as long as possible now."
Christian Saydee, who arrived from Reading with Moriah-Welsh, and Harvey Bertrand have been named vice captains.
