NATHAN Ake insists Cherries need to have “no fear at all” about taking on Tottenham.

Spurs visit Vitality Stadium tomorrow (12.30pm), hoping to cement a top-four finish, while Eddie Howe’s men have slipped down the table after one win in their past six matches.

Cherries have only beaten the north London side once in their history – an FA Cup game in 1957 – but Ake believes the Dorset club can take points from their final home game of the season.

He told the Daily Echo: “Tottenham at home will be tough, but we are confident. We just have to make sure we go there with no fear at all.

“Playing at home we just want to try and win the game. It’s also our last game at home this season so we want to do well.

“The last few games we haven’t really performed at home so we want to get back to that and hopefully we’ll get some points.”

Spurs’ trip to the south coast comes in the middle of their Champions’ League semi-final matches against Ajax.

Asked if he thought this might take their focus away from Cherries, Ake said: “Maybe, but I’m sure they will want to win in the league as well. I’m sure their team will still be strong.”
