BOSS Eddie Howe is praying Cherries’ devastating injury hoodoo hits no more members of his squad before the end of the season.
The Dorset club host Spurs on Saturday before ending their Premier League campaign at Crystal palace eight days later.
The likes of Simon Francis, Lewis Cook, Charlie Daniels, Diego Rico, Andrew Surman, Adam Smith and Junior Stanislas are all spending time in the treatment room with respective injury concerns.
Dan Gosling also picked up a calf problem in Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Southampton. Dominic Solanke had to soldier on at St Mary’s with a hamstring issue.
Howe said: “I’m just really disappointed with the fragmented nature of our injuries in the second half of this season. They have really killed us.
“You just don’t want any more (injuries) because there are some lads who won’t be back for pre-season and some boys we won’t get probably get until August or September.
“We are going to have to try to nurse the boys back and we are obviously very keen for the season to end to get some of our quality players back.
“We are just aware that we don’t want to go into pre-season next year with a weakened squad. It’s a hard enough league as it is.”
