BOSS Eddie Howe revealed Jefferson Lerma would face a late fitness test ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash at Liverpool.

The Colombian international has been nursing an ankle problem in recent weeks.

Midfielder Lerma missed Cherries’ 4-0 victory over Chelsea last month before coming on as a second-half substitute at Cardiff six days ago.

Howe said: “We are waiting on a fitness test for Jefferson Lerma.

“He has had a niggling ankle injury for a few weeks. He has been on and off in his training this week, we will wait and see if he’s fit.”

Callum Wilson and David Brooks remain out with respective knee and ankle injuries.

“David has been to see a specialist and has had scans. It will be around the four-week mark for him,” said Howe.

“Callum’s is a clean-out in his knee and will be around the same mark. We are not going to get them back earlier than that.

“They are big misses for us, big misses for the group. They are big personalities as well, so we are very keen to get them back fit.

“In the meantime, I believe we have the squad strength to cover those players."
