BOSS Tom Killick reiterated the importance of maintaining consistent form ahead of Poole Town's home clash with Southern League South play-off contenders Kings Langley.

Dolphins have not won back-to-back games since November and, while they cannot achieve that feat on Saturday (3pm), Killick is hopeful his side can build on their three-game unbeaten run.

He told the Daily Echo: “As I said after the win at Dorchester, we’re looking for consistent performances and results. Against Chesham, we struggled to create meaningful opportunities but didn’t concede or lose.

“To go anywhere in the table, we need to improve performances and results. Where that takes us doesn’t really concern me. But it is imperative we start putting together results.”

Kings Langley sit top of the form table with only one loss in their past 10 games, allowing them to surge from the lower reaches of the standings up to sixth.

Killick said: “They have put together a really strong run of results. We have to respect them because the table doesn’t lie.”

Defender Will Spetch is the only major doubt after being forced off with a groin injury against Chesham.

“Hopefully, he’ll be in contention to play," said Killick.
