CHERRIES striker Callum Wilson could be out for up to a month following knee surgery.
The England international missed tonight’s 4-0 victory over Chelsea at Vitality Stadium.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe said of the frontman: “He has had a very minor operation to clean out the knee.
“We don’t think he will be out long – three to four weeks.
“It will be a blow to lose him but, hopefully, it won’t be too bad.”
Colombian midfielder Jefferson Lerma missed the thumping win over the Blues due to an ankle injury.
Howe said: “We’ve had the relevant scans done and don’t think it’s anything too serious.
“But he has pain in his ankle so it’s a concern for us.”
David Brooks, who found the net with a well-taken strike, was later forced off.
Asked how serious the Welshman’s problem was, Howe said: “I’m not sure. I need to speak to the physios and to David to find out the extent of his injury.”
