EDDIE Howe admitted it would be “difficult” for Cherries to bring in any further players before the closure of the transfer window tomorrow night.

Cherries have recruited Chris Mepham, Dominic Solanke and Nathaniel Clyne – the latter on loan – this month.

Callum Wilson and Jefferson Lerma missed tonight’s 4-0 win against Chelsea due to injury while David Brooks was forced off in the second half.

Boss Howe said: “It’s difficult for us to bring anyone in at this late stage.

“I need to speak to the doctor and the physio team to see where we stand with our injuries from this game.

“I think we are what we are in terms of incomings but there may be one or two outgoings.”

Quizzed about Tyrone Mings, who has been linked with a host of Championship clubs, Howe said: “That may be one we look at. I need to speak to the people dealing with the respective deals to see where that stands.”
