REPORTS that Cherries are one of three Premier League clubs "tracking" Ipswich talent Andre Dozzell are understood to be untrue.

The Daily Mirror had claimed that the 19-year-old had been attracting attention from the Dorset club and top-flight rivals Brighton and Crystal Palace.

But the Daily Echo understands Cherries have no interest in the talented central midfielder.

Ipswich, who sit bottom of the Championship table, could be tempted to cash in to help fund new signings in their bid to beat the drop, according to the Daily Mirror report.

Dozzell suffered a cruciate ligament injury on the opening day of last season which ruled him out for more than a year.

He returned to first-team action this season back in October and played 11 games, including Saturday's FA Cup defeat at Accrington.

The Ipswich-born ace has represented England at every age group from under-16s to under-20s.

In 2017, Dozzell featured in the Young Lions side, alongside Cherries goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, that won the Under-19 European Championship.
