CHERRIES are on the brink of completing swoops for Liverpool's Dominic Solanke and Nathaniel Clyne.

Forward Solanke is set to arrive on a permanent deal for a reported fee of £19million, while full-back Clyne is primed to join on loan until the end of the season.

Cherries saw off competition from Cardiff City for Clyne, who joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2015 and was a regular in the starting line-up in his first two seasons at Anfield.

But he was then overtaken in the pecking order while out injured by Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has Joe Gomez, James Milner and Fabinho as covering options in that position.

Meanwhile, as predicted by the Daily Echo yesterday, Cherries goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has joined League One strugglers AFC Wimbledon on loan until the end of the season.

The youngster is in contention to make his debut in tomorrow's FA Cup trip to Fleetwood.

Defender Tyler Cordner has extended his loan at Havant & Waterlooville until the end of the season.
