CHERRIES are anxiously awaiting news on the extent of Dan Gosling’s knee injury.
Midfielder Gosling had been named on the bench for the Premier League trip to Manchester City on Saturday but pulled out following the warm-up.
The former Newcastle United and Everton man underwent a scan and Cherries boss Eddie Howe will be hoping for a positive update ahead of a busy festive period.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow's home fixture against Huddersfield Town (7.45pm), Howe said: “Dan Gosling has had a scan so we are awaiting the results of that.
“We didn’t feel it was anything serious. We thought originally it was just a knock.
“But he was uncomfortable in the warm-up so we pulled him out and we will wait and see how he is.”
Howe reported he had “a few niggles” to consider following the defeat at City.
