BOSS Eddie Howe believes exciting talent David Brooks is adapting to the physical demands of the Premier League.

The attacking midfielder joined Cherries from Sheffield United in July having played 90 minutes on just four occasions for the Blades in the Championship last season.

He has featured for the full duration three times for the Dorset club this campaign and has missed only four minutes of the past three top-flight fixtures.

Howe told the Daily Echo: “I think Brooksy has done very well physically.

“I still think there is a physical improvement in him in terms of playing 90 minutes, going late in games and being able to maintain his intensity from the first minute to the last.

“But those progressions I think will happen over time.

“I see an improvement in him week in, week out in terms of his ability to recover and get back behind the ball in those long runs we ask our players to do.

“I see no reason why he can’t do that for a long time to come.”
