BOSS Tom Killick believes Poole Town’s squad depth will help them cope with a “significant” run of fixtures.

Dolphins are due to make the trip to Kings Langley in Southern League South on Saturday (3pm) – the first of a staggering 13 games pencilled in between now and December 15.

Having this week bolstered his ranks with the addition of young striker Jake Scrimshaw on loan from Cherries, Killick is confident his charges can stay the gruelling course.

He told the Daily Echo: “We have an unbelievable run of games where we play Tuesday then Saturday for five weeks.

“It’s going to be very significant in terms of how the overall season pans out as to how we deal with this run of games.

“We are lucky most of the squad seem fit and available and we have to try to make that count over the next few games.

“We had the luxury of leaving people out of the squad on Saturday. I don’t think that has been the case for about two years! That shows we are quite strong.

“We seem to have had such bad luck with injuries and suspensions, we just need to keep the group together.”

Killick is hopeful of having Luke Roberts available following a toe injury.
