ROBBIE Woolner came off the bench to grab two late goals and earn a rave review from Christchurch manager Graham Kemp.

The striker entered the fray in the 60th minute when he replaced Marc Burrows, who had made it 2-0 to Priory five minutes after the break.

Paul Conroy fired Christchurch into a 10th-minute lead and Paul Rideout got their third just before Woolner was introduced.

Kemp said: "It is a team game and everyone has to play their part.

"Robbie did that against Amesbury.

"No one is more disappointed then him when he is out.

"But I have three strikers and they have to take their chance because they will get rotated.

"Robbie responded well by getting two off the bench."

Kemp had previously revealed he had "lost a bit of faith and trust" in his players following successive home defeats against Fareham and Lymington Town.

He had also warned that the Amesbury tie was last chance saloon for some of his players.

After his side fixed up a third qualifying round home tie against Sandhurst, Kemp said: "I'm very happy with the response, it was good and I couldn't ask for any more.

"It is a start, but we have been here before.

"Now we have a week off and will work on a few things in training before we are at home to Poppies next Saturday.

"One of the most pleasing things was that we kept a clean sheet because we hadn't got one this season.

"Once we got our noses in front I think our confidence got back into the side."
