TREVOR Parker had no complaints after his struggling New Milton outfit were turned over by high-riding Totton.
Mark Osman and Martin Thomas fired the visitors into a 2-0 half time lead.
Dave Ewen struck with a superb volley to drag New Milton back into contention after the break.
But Mike Gosney had the final say for Totton with a shot from the edge of the box with eight minutes to go.
Parker said: "Totton played very well and we were beaten fair and square.
"We have played games where we haven't deserved to lose, but we are a very young side and find it difficult to concentrate for 90 minutes, which showed against Totton."
New Milton: Lord, K Chengadu, R Chengadu, Grace, Hall, Borthwick, Toure (Booker 60), Risdon (Kabir 65), Long, Marks (Malloy 65), Ewen. Unused subs: Cobb, Flood.
