GOALS from Ben Satterley and Kieran Douglas did not prove enough as Christchurch were sunk 3-2 at home to Hamble Club in Wessex Premier.
The defeat left Ollie Cherrett’s men 17th in the table with eight points from their first 11 games since gaining promotion last season.
Ethan Taylor struck four times for Team Solent to condemn Lymington Town to a 4-1 reverse.
He notched the opener at the Sports Ground before a goal from Jake King levelled up the contest 11 minutes into the second half.
But Taylor had the final say as he scored three times in the final eight minutes. Lymington are 12th in the table with 12 points.
In Wessex One, Jack Ormiston and Rob Okumu were on target to earn Ringwood Town a 2-2 draw at Newport.
Patrick Wilson and Ericson Mukambi’s efforts proved in vain for New Milton Town as they were beaten 3-2 at Folland. Verwood Town were defeated 2-0 at home by Romsey.
Tomorrow, New Milton visit AFC Portchester and Christchurch make the trip to Bemerton Heath Harlequins in the first round of the Russell-Cotes Cup.
Lymington host Alresford in the third round of the Sydenhams League Cup (all 7.45pm).
