WIMBORNE Town will be hoping for a change in fortunes when they host Kings Langley at the Koolpak Stadium on Saturday (3pm).

The Magpies are currently second-from-bottom in Southern League South following a run of three successive defeats.

Despite their position, boss Matty Holmes has been encouraged by their displays in narrow one-goal losses at the hands of Weymouth, Beaconsfield and Basingstoke.

Hertfordshire-based Kings Langley are three places above Magpies who entertain Frome Town in another key clash on Tuesday.

Poppies will be hoping to extend their FA Vase run when they host South West Peninsula Premier Division outfit Newquay at Victoria Park (3pm).

Also in the first round, Bashley entertain Wessex Premier rivals Baffins Milton Rovers, while Hamworthy United travel to Shaftesbury for a Dorset derby. Brockenhurst visit Western League Premier Division Longwell Green Sports (all 3pm).

Christchurch will be looking to return to winning ways in Sydenhams Wessex Premier when they host Hamble Club at the MA Hart Stadium at Hurn Bridge (3pm).

And Lymington Town, who have suffered back-to-back defeats, entertain struggling Team Solent at the Sports Ground (3pm).

In Wessex One, Verwood host Romsey, New Milton travel to Folland Sports and Ringwood cross the Solent to face Newport (all 3pm).
