TYLER Moret’s goal for Baffins Milton Rovers condemned Lymington Town to a second successive defeat in Sydenhams Wessex Premier on Tuesday.
Moret bagged the only goal of the game midway through the first half at Rovers’ PMC Stadium as Lymington, beaten 2-0 by Alresford on Saturday, slipped to 10th.
Hamworthy United also suffered back-to-back defeats when they went down 3-1 against Fareham Town at Cams Alder.
Hammers, who were beaten 2-1 by AFC Portchester at the Specsavers County Ground on Saturday, fell 2-0 behind before River Smith struck to halve the deficit.
But the Creeksiders, who had Simon Woods (2) and Nathan Paxton on target, added a third to climb to sixth place.
Christchurch collected a valuable point from a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Shaftesbury at Cockrams.
Priory finished the game with 10 men following the dismissal of defender Kieran Douglas.
Striker James Thomson plundered a hat-trick as Brockenhurst made light work of seeing off Bishops Waltham Dynamos in the second round of the Southampton Senior Cup.
Thomson’s treble, coupled with a strike from Cassius Newton, helped the Badgers triumph over the Southampton Premier League outfit at the Meadens Skoda Arena.
