HEAD coach Will Croker heaped praise on Scott Chislett after he brought up a special milestone for Bournemouth.

The stalwart Lions servant clocked up his 300th appearance for the club during the 34-3 victory over Brixham last time out.

He is set to add to his tally when he lines up at fly-half for Croker’s men at Camborne on Saturday.

The Lions boss told the Daily Echo: “Scott is genuinely one of the world’s nicest men.

“He is a quiet, humble, family man. He is not a leader in terms of captaincy and that type of stuff but is a leader in terms of what he does on the pitch for people to follow.

“He is known for his big hitting and tackling – everyone says ‘how does a guy who looks so slight hit so hard?’ But for me the amazing thing about him is his variety of pass and ability to spot a gap and put somebody else into it.

“He has a really keen eye for how the game should be played and what needs to be done to do it. I could not have been happier for him.

“Scott had effectively played the equivalent of 12 seasons back-to-back to achieve that and is an incredible player.

“It’s his testimonial season and we will be doing all we can to make sure it’s a memorable one for him.”
