JACK Singh Brar held his nerve to win his second professional title and his first on the European Challenge Tour.

The Remedy Oak star, who turned professional 12 months ago, shot a final round of 67 to take a three-shot victory at the Cordon Golf Open in north-west France.

Wellow-based Singh Brar had headed into day four in the box seat having carded 69, 65 and 64 at Golf Blue Green Pléneuf-Val-André.

And despite pressure from Spain’s Adri Arnaus, the 21-year-old kept his head to end on 15 under par.

As a result of his victory, Singh Brar is within touching distance of earning a European Tour card for next year.

The top 15 in the Road to Ras Al Khaimah will receive cards.

Singh Brar’s first professional title came at the Red Sea Little Venice Open in Egypt in February, an Alps Tour event.

He also finished tied for second in his first Challenge Tour tournament in April – the Turkish Airlines Challenge – for which he banked 18,000 euro.
