DORSET'S Georgia Hall encountered an up and down opening round in the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open.
The Wimborne-based 22-year-old made a flying start after picking up birdies on the first two holes at Gullane in East Lothian.
But her name slipped off the first page of the leaderboard when she double-bogeyed the 405-yard par four seventh to reach the turn in level par 35.
The Solheim Cup star carded a bogey at the par-four 10th before immediately redressing the balance at the next.
Hall went back into red figures when she registered a birdie at the 16th – her third of the day on the par-fives – before a bogey at the last saw here finish level.
