CHRISTCHURCH have announced the departure of Fiona Clements as club chairperson after more than three years in the role.
She gave her decision to the committee of the promoted Sydenhams Wessex Premier outfit at their annual general meeting on Monday.
A statement on the club website read: "Fiona Clements has stepped down as club chairman.
"Fiona was instrumental in the club achieving a number of key milestones. These included the completion of the new changing rooms.
"We wish Fiona well in her future endeavours.
"Mr Robin Osborne has been elected to the role of club chairman.
"Robin brings with him a wealth of local football experience (recently as chair of Hampshire FA) and has previous connections with the club.
"We welcome Robin to this role and look forward to his stewardship of the club."
Christchurch meet Wimborne Town at Cuthbury tomorrow (Friday) to contest the Gerry Page Trophy (7.45pm).
Also tomorrow, Poole Town travel to Blackfield & Langley (7.15pm) and New Milton entertain Hamworthy Recreation (7pm) in pre-season friendlies.
Friendlies listed for Saturday include Hamworthy United hosting Weymouth at the Specsavers County Ground (3pm), Poppies welcoming Hashtag United to Victoria Park (3pm) and Bashley facing Holt United at Brockenhurst College (11am).
Spectators are urged to check fixtures and kick off times with the relevant clubs.
