BOSS Eddie Howe believes Lys Mousset will "only get better" after handing the striker his second Premier League start of the season against Tottenham.
The French under-21 international was replaced by Joshua King after 67 minutes of the 4-1 defeat having shown glimpses of his rich potential.
Mousset, whose first start of the season came during the 2-1 victory at Stoke in October, bagged his maiden Premier League goal in Cherries' 2-1 against the Potters in February.
The 22-year-old, who has also come off the bench 14 times in the top flight, will be hoping to keep his place when Cherries host West Brom tomorrow.
Howe told the Daily Echo: "I thought Lys did really well against Tottenham.
"We always expected him to tire because he hasn't had a great deal of football.
"But for the time he was on the pitch, I thought he did very well for the team and he showed his quality. He will only get better."
