DAN Gosling revealed his regret after Cherries had been given a dose of their own medicine at Leicester City.
Seven days after the midfielder grabbed his team a last-gasp 2-2 draw against Newcastle United, this time it was the Dorset side who were pegged back.
A late free-kick from Leicester's Riyad Mahrez cancelled out Joshua King's first-half penalty and ensured a fifth draw in six Premier League contests between the teams.
Gosling told the Daily Echo: "If you have these games, you would rather be the one scoring the last-minute goal and then you feel like it's a win.
"It's tough to take. We defended so well for large period, in the second half especially.
"I think we needed to be better on the counter-attack. We had two or three chances where we could have done better."
Cherries were denied a second spot-kick by referee Lee Probert after Charlie Daniels was pushed over by Wilfred Ndidi.
Gosling added: "I think Chaz was goal side. I did ask the question but the referee waved it away.
"It's difficult giving two penalties in one game but if it is a penalty you have got to give it."
