DORSET star Georgia Hall endured a tough opening to the Women's Australian Open with a three-over-par 75 at Kooyonga Golf Club.
The Wimborne-based professional recorded five bogeys and two birdies during her first round in Adelaide, dropping shots on three of the par fives.
Ranked 34th in the world, Hall did make twos at the par-three third and short 14th but that was as good as it got for the former Canford Kid.
She hit eight out of 14 fairways and 10 greens in regulation.
Hall had been two shots adrift of the projected cut after round one. She is due to begin her second round alongside Rebecca Artis and Mariajo Uribe at 1.42am UK time.
South Korea’s Ko Jin-Young leads the way on seven under having rattled off nine birdies to sign for a 65.
