PIPPA Barnard claimed a clutch of medals – including a gold – at the Dragon Boat World Championships in France.
The 14-year-old, who trains at Riverside Wimborne, was part of the GB Dragon Boat under-18 squad in Divonnes-les-Bains.
She raced in the open boat team and helped them win four medals over various distances – three bronze and gold in the 200-metre sprint.
Four of the club's junior under-12 Lightning Class paddlers competed at the National Marathon Championships in Pangbourne on the River Thames.
James Bourne, Mia Rushen, Destiny Cullum and Noah Dance finished second out of 22 clubs in the Lightning points table.
The club, which is part of Poole Harbour Canoe Club, caters for all ages and is holding a Dreamboats Raft Race Day on Sunday.
