TWO second-half tries from Dominic Pitt helped Ellingham & Ringwood cement a 45-19 victory Hampshire One strugglers Farnborough at the Raymond Brown Memorial Ground.
Sam Panton, Dave Jones and Josh Butcher all went over in the first half as the fifth-placed Es secured an important bonus-point triumph.
Although Farnborough took the lead with a converted penalty try, Ellingham flank forward Panton crashed over and centre Butcher levelled with the conversion.
Farnborough again scored a converted try from an interception to regain the lead, only for Ellingham scrum-half Jones and Butcher to touch down to give them a 19-14 lead at the break.
Ellingham dominated the second half with two tries from centre Pitt confirmed their superiority.
Butcher converted both and also kicked four penalties with Farnborough only able to muster an unconverted try in reply.
