UNCONFIRMED reports suggest Cherries midfielder Lewis Cook could be a loan target for former club Leeds.
The 19-year-old joined Cherries for an undisclosed fee in July and was handed his Premier League debut against Manchester United.
Cook, who penned a four-year deal, has since been restricted to two starts in the League Cup.
The teenager’s progress was checked by an ankle injury during the early part of the season, while the arrival of Jack Wilshere has boosted Eddie Howe’s midfield options.
Cook is due to return from international duty having helped England under-20s complete a clean sweep of victories at the Four Nations tournament.
He came off the bench in a 2-0 win against the Netherlands at Oldham a week ago and started in a 3-1 victory over Germany in Huddersfield on Friday.
Crowned Football League young player of the year following an impressive 2015-16 campaign with Leeds, Cook has been linked with a return to Elland Road by teamtalk.com
