KYLE Newman has declared himself fit to ride in Pirates' Elite League play-off showdown with Wolverhampton tomorrow.
The Poole-born charger suffered a twisted knee while riding for a Premier League select side in a challenge fixture at Swindon on Thursday.
He missed Plymouth's win over Scunthorpe on Saturday but is now fit to return, the 24-year-old linking up with Adam Ellis at reserve.
Also in the Pirates septet will be new recruit Antonio Lindback, while double world champion Tai Woffinden will race for Wolves in the semi-final first leg.
Poole chief Matt Ford said: "I guess I am like most speedway fans in that I am really looking forward to seeing Tonio and Tai back racing each other in British speedway.
"A play-off is always a thrilling night of speedway in its own right but on Wednesday we will have four of the current top 10 GP riders on show.
"I would encourage fans to really make the effort to come along. It could be one of those nights that will be talked about for many years to come."
Ford was speaking to the club website.
