GOALS from Dave Ewen and Ami Rosario proved little consolation for Poppies as they suffered a 4-2 defeat at Sydenhams Wessex Premier rivals Brockenhurst.

Ollie Cherrett's side put away five unanswered goals at Hurn Bridge, Pepe-chino Smith leading the way with a brace. Luke Stone, Will Gage and Marcus Cullen also got in on the scoring act.
Ringwood Town's difficult season continued with a 2-1 loss at US Portsmouth, Callum Coker and Pete Lines grabbing the goals for the victors.
