HIGHCLIFFE Sailing Club is inviting new and returning sailors to get on the water as part of the Royal Yachting Association’s Push the Boat Out campaign.
The club will hope to play their part in a nationwide drive to encourage people into sailing and windsurfing when they host an event on Saturday, May 21 (10am).
A host of activities are due to take place including – weather permitting – a free taster sailing session. Visitors will need to book a time slot for sailing which can be done by emailing com@highcliffesailing.co.uk.
The club has buoyancy aids but visitors wishing to sail will need to wear shoes they can get wet in and a spare change of clothes or wetsuit. A towel is advisable.
